I was asking you how you will be able to tell if there is a performance increase with BOVs on the dyno. You cant because you have to SHIFT in order to tell the difference. And whats the difference between 'lag' and 'spool time'? The time that the turbos are not spooling is referred to as lag so they are directly related. I just used them in a different context. Its not a matter of justifying spending the money either. I've spent money on mods that were not all that they were cracked up to be. You know where those mods are now? Gone off of my car. I can sell my BOVs today and make a profit so money is not the issue here. It's about performance. BOVs are not included with factory cars because of the noise they make. They are equipped with recirculating valves because there has to be a compromise between comfort and performance. Your argument was that BOVs provide no performance increase over the stock recirculating valves besides noise, is that right? How can you say that without trying BOVs first? Those who have taken the 'risk' have all been satisfied with the results, excluding those who are just buying them for sound. They are just idiots.
